Everything people ask us.

Do I use my own WhatsApp number?

Yes. You link the number you already use by scanning a QR code in your portal, or with a pairing code. Messages go out from your number and replies come back to you — you are never renting a sender.

Are there per-message fees?

No. Plans are paid once a year and there is no charge per message, so a busy month costs the same as a quiet one.

How do I send a message?

With one HTTP call. A GET request to send.php with the number, your API key and the text sends a message; a POST with JSON to /api/send adds images, documents and reply buttons.

How do replies reach my system?

Give your key a webhook address. Every inbound message, button tap and file is posted to it as JSON. Group chats can be skipped, and messages can be marked as read automatically.

Can I give a client their own key?

Yes. Every plan comes with a number of keys — one, five or twenty — and each key is its own WhatsApp session with its own number, webhook, message log, usage and expiry date. Limits live on the key, not the account, so one key can never spend another client’s quota.

Will my existing send.php scripts keep working?

Yes. The original send.php, status.php, addphone.php and webhook.php paths are still supported, so scripts written for them run unchanged.

Do I need to write code?

Not on WordPress. The TextBot plugin connects WordPress and WooCommerce to your number from the WordPress admin: order updates, abandoned carts, bookings, forms, a WhatsApp menu and a chat widget. It needs WordPress 6.0 and PHP 7.4 or later.

What is AgentDesk?

The workspace your team answers from. It puts WhatsApp, website chat and email in one shared inbox, keeps a CRM behind every conversation, and runs AI agents that answer from your own documents. It uses the numbers you already run through TextBot.

Do I need a second account for AgentDesk?

No. AgentDesk runs at agentdesk.textbot.cc and signs you in from your TextBot account — one login, no second password.

Which AI can the agents use?

Ollama running inside AgentDesk, Ollama Cloud or OpenAI — or an agent you already built in Dify, Flowise, Langflow, Botpress, Rasa, Dialogflow CX, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Voiceflow or n8n.

Can AgentDesk read voice notes?

Yes. WhatsApp voice notes that arrive through TextBot are transcribed on the AgentDesk server before they reach an agent, so the AI and your team read them as text.

How do I pay?

Plans are priced in US dollars and paid once a year through PayFast, which charges the equivalent in rand. Your account and API key are created as soon as PayFast confirms the payment.

What happens when a plan ends?

Each key carries its expiry date and switches itself off on that day. You get an email before a key stops working, not after, so there is time to renew.

How do I get support?

Raise a ticket inside your account and follow the reply against it, or write to support@textbot.cc.

Can I message anyone?

Only message people who expect to hear from you. The WordPress plugin keeps opt-in records and enforces opt-outs, and WhatsApp’s own terms apply to every number.
